CBS Evening News to have model railroad segment
Neet, do you know when? And what time?
Right about now.
He should have built a switching layout![;)]
If you missed it, it was an Assignment America segment, and I expect it will show up here soon. (Not on the site yet).

He’s only 61, unmarried, no kids, so he has time to do it.
It started a 7PM (5 minutes ago) so you haven’t missed much yet. It sounded like it is coming pretty late in the show. It is an outdoor layout that he can ride in.
It ran here at roughly 6:50. Must be a timezone thing.
That’s the next project!
This is on the website above now.
It looks like 2 ft gage; that’s a real railroad; we had many miles of 2 ft gage railroads in Maine about 75 years ago. There were 7 or 8 companies in different parts of the state. From Moson Slate to Sandy River & Rangley Lakes RR they were all going businesses (some better than others), but they all went down to the Great Depression. Fortunately, some of the equipment was saved, and there are 4 places you can still ride the 2 footers in Maine; 2 of them on the original right of way.[:D]
It’s up now.
I think if I was unmarried and no family, I might do the same thing. [:)] That has to be so peaceful sitting in that depot with nothing but your thoughts…Thanks for the link Kenfolk.
cool lemme ask my parents
That was really cool, nice of you to alert us to that!, thanks very much, now i just need to talk to my wife and…
i think i need a bigger back yard !
You can build it in mine [:D]. 1200 feet of main line with room for a loop at the far end.
Not two miles but better than a 4 x 8.
