As a grandson of Kenneth L. Larson, a colleague of Mr. Gruber’s at the locus of the state of Wisconsin printing efforts, a congratulations of efforts well done.
I recall a great photo essay by Mr Gruber in a Trains issue around 1963 highlighting the D&RGW narrow gauge.
I’ve been a die-hard fan of the NG ever since!
Perhaps Trains can re-publish those photos of an actual working pre-D&S work train.
