I have seen finished pics from the swap from rapido to magnetic couplers, but not close ups that actually show what was done. As is, the rapidos are part of the trucks. Body mounting won’t work. Also, has anyone converted one of these to DCC?

I have three H-12-44 switcher engines by minitrix, the conversion kit you are looking for is listed as #1049, I have converted one, its a truck mounted kit that uses the coupler pocket of the truck, easy enough, you take out the rapido coupler and spring and replace it with a small pocket that fits inside, as I recall you may have to cut the pin that held the spring for the rapido coupler. As for DCC conversion, sorry can’t help you with that, still running DC with Swats. Hope this helps you out…[:)]
