Charlie Brown hired two new guys to run the blower!
His forman Grommet got to meet them.
Hmm not to shure! ( Thing 1 & thing 2 )
So he tells his superviser and was told he has to keep them!
He then asks his friend what to do.
His friend ( Charlie’s buddy) asked Charlie if he can get rid of them??
NO part of the union!
So they talked to the union rep!!
He said it was amazing what those two could do!!
How did you make the leaf blower car. I need one of these due to my not pulling alot of volunteer trees (Maple) when the seeds fell and started to sprout. It’s a brilliant idea for alot of manual jobs that have to be done by the railroad workers, many with bad backs to try and keep the tracks clear.
I’d like to see a “before” and “after” picture of the job. So what is the crew’s motto? “You don’t pay unless you are satisfied: Not a paying customer in years!”
Just trust me and pay in full up front type of job…Sorta like the Gov. [*-)]
Morning coffee then 10 minute break for work, then lunch,10 minute work cession, then afternoon coffee then another 10 minute work cession followed up with time to clean up!!
Don’t forget all then bathroom breaks ( news paper under arm )![(-D]
Ah- now I get it! Their motto is “we get up at 12, got to work at 1, get an hour for lunch, at 2 we’re done!” Definitely government contractors, yup, no doubt about that at all.[swg]
Ben this was my first large scale bash project, a Scientific boxcar on a HLW mack chassis. Built maybe 2004?
Its based on a motorized boxcar vehicle used on a Pacific Northwest logging rwy. There is a kit for it in the smaller scales (but NOT large scale) so I built my own.
edit: It was Bill’s Train Shop or BTS sold the kits in HOn3 to O a few years ago but no longer. It was called the McCabe Lumber Speeder Kit.
