Back in Denver after the diagonal tour-de-Indiany (Gary-Indy-Cincy…almost as long as de tour-de-nebrasky) - I think the Trains gang (all 4, Wrinny, Yuhas, Bacha & newgal) fled Tuesday night from Indy.
Tuesday night was dinner and a demolition derby in downtown Indy. (people don’t do well with one-way streets unless they are circular? Four car accident with one car upside down on a low speed street)
They are talking about snow tonight? (somebody sitting at home laughing from home Willy?)
mookie the sailboat train takes empty flat and well cars to an intermodal terminal.(baretable). ns was busy today. Had some rain, more on the way.tommorow is Friday.
First person who brings that white stuff east of the Mississippi gets castrated… Headed for Hot-lanta tomorrow, then hopefully back into cooler weather for the weekend…
Sounds like you could do it safely, SJ…just don’t bring Driver along!
And Joe, be careful how you talk about that sailboat fuel…say it too loud and somebody’s gonna want to regulate it and the cars it’s carried “in.” [banghead]
Today is a nice rainy dull yuck with humidity galore kinda day…going to 74 feeling like 88 later on…by the way…anyone need some extra humidity for their viewing pleasure?
Having a few friends over later on to run some trains around…and see whether Mr Murphy is living in my basement…
Tree: Definitely I’ll be watching the salt intake!![B)]
Well, MC may wish we kept it west of the Wasatch. When I went out to get my paper this morning, the grass was covered with snow. Some of the grass is coming through now. Of course, at a mile high (most of Salt Lake City is about 4400 feet high), we can expect snow.
I opened the heat/cooling vents in my bedroom and kitchen-living-dining-room last night.
Sir Mud - We got 2 inches of rain last nite and just about 12-15 miles south of us (Hickman, Panama, Bennett) - they had a tornado - took out one house, and a 2nd touchdown on Roca Rd - a little closer.
