Tell me this is a HUGE LOT. I mean if you look close 3/4 of that price is for all the OMI and other brass stuff this guy has.
Looks like the dealers are going nuts bidding on it. Hard to believe it started at $1.00…
WOW!!! The bidding looks a little suspicious. Looks like somebody is throwin down some shills.
Imagine having to type that entire inventory?
Not to mention shipping. I’m glad I’m not the guy hauling all that stuff to a house (or shop).
WOW
Yea you would have to pay me $27.000 just to type all that in.
bill
nuts!
It would have been nice if the list had some order to it, as he’s got Kato mixed in with OMI mixed with Athearn mixed with Westside, etc.

My thoughts on this are simple: The guy would do MUCH MUCH better if he sold things individually, not all as one giant lot. ESPECIALLY with all that brass in there.

I wonder if he would take payments on it? what would shipping and handling cost, would be nice, but not in my price range, besides I think the wife would kill me if she seen me raiding our life savings for it…[banghead]
If I ever bought a collection like that I would certainly piece sell it out, I could not keep any of it except selected items.
I am about ready to start selling off some of my stuff anyways. How I do it is an open question, perhaps some in lots, others individually.
Yeah, I’d say we’ll see most of this back on eBay pretty quickly…

Just too much for words If I win the lottery tonite…Cox 47
Whoa! Someone has some extra $$$ to spend…

HOLY COW, that is a long description!! dont have time to read all, and I cant believe he typed all that, man he is gonna make some serious mula off of that one! 59 bids!? WOW!
WoW!!! Yeah…he would definately get a lot more if the items were listed individually. But it is a great way to bring in a huge chunk of cash quickly!!!

Too rich.
That one fellar finally dropped out at 20,000
[:O] Wow! He had almost as much stuff as I do! LOL!!! [;)] (Just Kidding)
Makes one wonder what enjoyment someone gets by hoarding tons of hobby kits never to take them out of a box, what enjoyment could you get from this? this sort of hoarding mentality gives model railroading a bad name.
To each his own, some people just like to collect stuff and just that alone is a hobby to them. It’s his fathers stuff so I would assume he is selling it because his father passed away.
