Was at Wal-Martin yesterday, and saw that they are replacing the (getting old) single pack Malibu International cars with some new stuff. The prices have estimated cent values.
Here’s a list of what they have now:
+4 different Semi Tractors. Each in a differen’t paint, and with it’s own design. $3.67
+5 packs of cars. Includes 1 case, and 5 cars from older run, in new paint. $7.50
+NASCAR Race Cars. Many different cars including Jeff Gordon, and the LOWES car. $2.67
+2 packs of Car and camper. Each includes one car from older run, in new paint, and a matching camper. All of the campers in the packs are the same type. $2.57
I only bought the Semis and the Camper/Car sets. I will try to post some pics in the morning for ya’ all to look at. I will end up buying at least one 5 pack, and 1 NASCAR car to post photos of for you. They are definatly worth the money they cost.
Most of you already know that the singles are in the clearence aisle for only a buck, so pick them up while you can.
The cars were at the following Wa-Marts in Wisconsin: Portage, Stevens Point, Lake Delton (Wisconsin Dells for all of you foreigners) and Baraboo. I wasn’t at any other ones to look, so that’s up to you.
I dont know if it was your or not, but there was another post about this the other day, I think saturday is when I saw it, and there were a few pics.
They do look nice for the price.
I would like to know if this is more a wide spread thing with walmart…
as soon as I get off work today I am going to head down to wally world and take a look and see if they got them too, and Terre Huate has a new wal mart opening on Wed. I will be gone on trip, but it is on the way home from the airport, so I will stop in there and take a look too.
I saw the post the other day about the semi rigs on sale at wal-mart…didn’t find a single one of them but did find a 1:87 scale car with a camper…(HO scale)…the wal-mart near my house isn’t the best wal-mart around so i’m gonna go into town and check the other one for the semi’s…it’s a better wal-mart store than the one by my house…chuck
I did pick up 2 semi’s (Internationals) a 5 pack of malibu cars, and a No. 24 Jeff Gordon nascar in 1/87th. Never saw the 5 packs before. Didn’t see any of the campers though , dang it.[:O]
I bought these this past Friday at WM. That was all they had, and since I didn’t have either of the cars I bought them both, I have also got a VW bus with a camper that I got some time back. Mike
