In the past I posted here as Otto Ray Sing, which is a play of words on a hobby that I was involved in years ago. I’ve changed my handle to reflect the area that I now live in. I lived in Oskaloosa Iowa for most of my life, and moved Kodiak Alaska in May of 2001. I model in N scale with an emphasis on the Rock Island lines of the mid-sixties.
I visited Kodiak years ago while on a fishing trip. What a beautiful place, I plan on visiting there again when I retire.
So how close is your nearest hobby shop?
I’m about 250 air miles from one in Anchorage. I usually just order from the net hobby suppliers.
