Some months I do well in the ratings, other months not so much and I have no idea what causes the inconsistent ranking. I open the Diner and Show Me threads and I think that boost my ratings. The offer still stands to anyone if they want to take over opening those two threads, have at it. Just think of the brownie points you can get.

LOL, don’t sweat it. If you forget someone will open it. I use to wait until close to midnight West Coast time just to keep the Easterners chomping at the bit. Of course it was always the next day for Bear in New Zealand.
Just check that no one else has opened the new Diner before you hit reply. In years gone by we have woken up to three new Diners being opened up That’s a lot of coffee.

I have to wonder if there’s a way to set up a “delayed post” on the Forums, sort of like how you can do so with Youtube videos and the like. The closest that I can think of is to make a draft and then post it at the pertinent time.

Just do it before you go to bed, it only takes about two minutes. Just copy and paste the intro tiles and mention a topic for the month and then keep going back to edit all your spelling mistakes. Easy Peasy.

Copy the relevant tiles and ‘boilerplate’ into a word-processing document and save it. Then you can just make the appropriate changes for the month ‘offline’ and just start the new thread and copy/paste the content. Easier-peasier.
That’s more or less my plan.

Why not? The floors are sticky and there’s more duct tape than naugahyde on the booth benches in recent years.

Well, maintenance is an exception. I already bought a new roll of tape!
Hope you bought red tape, not gray.
Gray is not allowed.
Red is okay because it is easier to find if the roll drops into the reactor vessel.

No, I got blue tape. I even ordered the Industrial-Size Super Bulk Pack, so I’m expecting a pallet of the stuff soon.
