Chicago elevated/subway

I have noticed that a Canadian Co. has laser cut elevated platforms modeled after the Chicago

elevated trains. Does anyone out there know if there are any N scale cars for this type of

elevated/subway?

Welcome to the forum. I can’t answer your question directly but have you contacted the “Canadian Co.” directly? Most businesses don’t make products without knowing a market exists. They’re probably model railroaders themselves and might be able to point you to the source you seek.

This company makes a laser cut styrene kit for Chicago El cars in both HO and N scale. It looks like a it’s going to take quite a bit of work to build a decent model, so if your not experienced with craftsman kits, this may not be for you.

This comany is mainly HO scale, but they do list a resin N scale shell for Chicago 4000 series El cars. They’re an older prototype and I’m guessing they were out of service sometime in the early 70’s.

I’m in HO scale, so I can’t help you with how to power either of these models.
