I was wondering if anyone knows anything about an intermodal yard on Chicago’s south side that I have heard called the IMX yard. Where exactly is it? Who uses it? and anything else anyone can tell me about this yard.
Former Ilinois Central intermodal facility. Was sold to the SPCL when they bought the GM&O to St Louis. Now UP facility. Located on the North side of I55 (Stephenson Expressway) approximately between Western Avenue and Ashland Avenue in Chicago.
