Meanwhile rail removal activists, working in conjunction with New York State, and the Lake Placid Olympic Regional Development Agency, are within a hair’s breadth of removing the rail from the Adirondack Scenic Railroad between Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, and Lake Placid.
