I’m not on that side of the pond, but what do you mean by “chipping” the locomotive? Logic tells me it involves installing electronics, not putting them through a very large shredder/mulcher, though the visual is somewhat amusing. (“NO, that’s NOT how you kitbash!!!”)

Hi K By chipping I mean installing R/C or DCC loads of people do LGB but no one seems to want to do Bachmann
The cost of B-Mann vs the cost of Chipping would be the driving factor for me
