Christmas Layouts

Yep, it’s that time of year again! [:D] Show off your handiwork!

A couple of weeks ago I acquired an American Flyer 310 Pacific:

Over the summer I sold my Les Paul Goldtop and this is what I did with part of the money. So I figured I’d show that to you guys first. [:D]

Independence Hall has moved back from 6 years of Disneyland service.

And the Doctor has arrived:

Have fun! [:D] And Merry Christmas! [:D]

I sold a Fender P- bass and used part of the cash for the 726rr. It’s amazing how much those old instruments appreciate ! Great pictures! I need to get one of the Flyer Pennsy engines to round out my collection…

I sold a Fender Precision Bass and a Peavey CS-800 to raise enough money for an engagement ring for my (now) ex-wife. What a waste!

What kind of track is that in the TARDIS/Doctor pic?

It’s extra tie Lionel O scale tubular. I added popsicle sticks too.

“As you exit the tram, please be sure to take all of your belongings with you, and grasp small children firmly by the hand.”

“There are several ways to visit Disneyland. If you’re a first time visitor, you may enjoy the guided tour. Returning guests will recall the value of ticket books. The Big 10 and the Deluxe 15.”

Let’s see if I can get this to work.

Great job! That Monorail is especially nice. I see you have your tree up, feeling like the holidays!

Oh, it worked all right Becky, it worked.

With that video and the other shots you posted I need to take a moment and pick my lower jaw up off the floor. Wow.

And LL675 those are some nice shots too, a real time travel trip back to the 50’s!

I goofed, had to make a change:

The version with music was supposed to be for my own personal use.

From 2 years ago.

I’m planning on making a new video this year since I’ve since gotten an HD video camera, and since upgrading to Windows 10 this year, I can now pull videos directly from the camera and get them online faster.

Kevin

I spent the day doing a bit of stop motion animation. I think you’ll like this version better than my previous one.

Some pictures of my son’s wide gauge layout under his tree from last year. We are making a new one again this year.

Fantastic stuff guys! [:D][tup]

Kevin I love the on board video! [:D]

L675: A classic look done right! [:D]

Major, your son’s layout is a dream! [:D]

Always enjoy seeing others trains at Christmas. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing work from all of you! Thanks so much for posting!

Video of this year’s tree and a ride around on the Lionel, this time in HD. [:)]

Kevin

One last look at my old layout. My sister, Katie, provided the imagery (a birthday present to me before we moved).

I was taking it kind of easy when doing those. Unlike the digital camera I used two years ago, I didn’t have my Sony Handycam rubberbanded to the flat car. I was afraid that if I went to fast it would vibrate off behind the tree out of reach. Would have made for a different video then. [:)]
