I really love the AmCal/Surfliner train. Is that all brass? If so that must’ve cost you a pretty penny…

At the time I got the engine, MTH didn’t have a Premier Surfliner F59PHI w/ Proto-Sound 2.0 to match the cars, that’s why I got the Amtrak California Locomotive. Now , MTH has just come out with a Premier Surfliner F59PHI w/ Proto-Sound 2.0, so I might get it.

Also at the time I got the cars, K-Line didn’t have the 5-Car set, but they did have a 4-Car set, which I got, then I added a coach.

That’s O scale? Oops, I thought that was HO (why I thought the cars were brass). Either way, very cool.
