City of Roseville's Railroad Themed Rose Parade Float

For anyone interested in seeing it, here’s a shot of the City of Rosevilles’s entry in the Rose Parade yesterday. Roseville is home to a large former Southern Pacific yard and the float celebrated the city’s railroad heritage.

Would that be classified as street running? [:)]

Nice shot, Charles.

That train’s not going to get very far without a tender…[:o)]

Long live the SP !!![8D]

Nice pic Charles, thanks for shareing.[;)]

Very Good Pic., Thanks for sharing!!

(wasn’t/isn’t a requsite that the floats for that Parade be made mostly

out of flowers?)

Flowers and seeds I think…

On KTLA’s coverage, there was no mention of the Southern Pacific at all, just borg. Borg comes to town and destroys all history.

That’s my understanding as well. It’s entirely possible that the boiler is coated with poppy seeds, f’rinstance.

Nice shot charles thank you for sharing it Larry
