I am painting another engine and wanted to paint it with Polly Scale Gloss coat. I know flat, or dull ocat will give windows that frosted, or fogged look, but will Gloss? Can I paint over the windows?

I have tried painting the windows and it always comes out bad, so I now either take the windows out or mask them off. Making them takes away from the sharpness of the lines between the window and the body, so if you can its best to take the time to remove the window. Hope this helps

If you WANT a gloss coat and don’t want to remove the “windows” … airbrush on a good coat of Future floor wax full strength right from the bottle. Future gives plastic “windows” an amazing finish leaving them with a thinner more glass-like appearance … seriously !!!

I would definitely remove all clear parts unless I was using Future or a water based clear coat.
