The Providence & Worcester Ethanol Train went on the ground this morning while passing through downtown Willimantic Ct. Six of the 80 cars derailed with two of them rolling over. NO LEAKAGE !!
The news film put on the air by 2 of the Hartford TV station showed the cars involved had lost their trucks and the track was trash. It appears to have happen on the interchange track with the New England Central.
Automotive gasoline sold in the New England states contain 10% Ethanol.
