CN 2141 Grade Crossing Accident

Very little firm information right now, but it seems Kamloops Heritage Railway’s “Spirit of Kamloops” (ex-CN 2141) clipped a truck at a private grade crossing on the return trip from Armstrong to Campbell Creek. No injuries reported and the damage is described as cosmetic. The 2141 finished the excursion under its own power. Hopefully this incident won’t effect the good relationship the KHR has with CN, CP, and Kelowna Pacific.

From castanet.net news:

Fortunately there were no serious injuries, or deaths involved, this is exactly the kind of thing that can effect all steam excursions, and run their liability insurance to point of not being affordable enough to make the excursions possible.
