i was wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate value of a CN manual from 1893 in near mint condition. I was lucky enough to have one given to me and i was just curious.
Without pictures it isn’t real.
Which ‘CN’ do you mean, 1893 is too early for the obvious ones (Canadian Northern & Canadian National). But any railway document from pre-WWI should be quite valuble to the right buyer, and its historical value would be off the charts.
I too would like to see a picture.
I will be more then happy to post pictures as soon as it arrives from Canada it was left to me in a will…so that alone makes it special to me…but yes i will post pictures
What kind of manual ?
it is my sister that is sending it from NS…all she could tell me was it looked like something about a locomotive…but…i will not know until it get to me…and i was wrong about the year…i said it is from 1893 but it is from 1897
CN didn’t exist in 1893. Do you mean Grand Trunk?
