I just got word that they are back on strike.
Who CN conductors dislike most Harrison or the UTU leaders. Back in February, when the UTU initially called the strike, it fell apart when many conductors started ignoring the UTU and going back to work.
Then the UTU leaders finally agree to a contract with CN and the membership vote over 80% against the contract. It doesn’t sound like the UTU knows their members very well. If I was part of the UTU leadership in Canada, I might be thinking my days were numbered.
