CN derailment disrupts Amtrak in Quebec
Strange how every time Amtrak has a problem, those pesky bus drivers show up, each with a bus. And their company is probably making money hand over fist unlike Amtrak, which loses money every time a locomotive is started, diesel or electric.
Jeffrey Guse—how is AMTRAK to blame for a freight derailment? And what should have AMTRAK done?
I am almost certain those pesky bus drivers with their busses would be less then profitable if they paid to use the roads they drive on, or worse yet, owned and maintained the road. Someone obviously failed economics, or more likely, 5th grade math.
Thank goodness for those bus operators, at least the Amtrak passengers eventually get to where they want to go. When a plane crashes they send refrigerated trucks for what is left of the bodies. So cheer up it could be worse.
What is AMTRAK supposed to do, make everyone walk? And, of course the bus company is making money, that’s why they are in business!
In the words of your god Ronald Reagan Jeffrey, “There you go again”. Our turkey is talking like a turkey again. In case you have forgotten, IT’S CALLED AN ACCIDENT, NOT AN ON PURPOSE! As for the buses, Amtrak called for help and a bus company came to the rescue. I’m sure that Amtrak has come to the rescue for buses and the airlines.
