CN Fleet grows

Man…what a jerk.

David

I don’t see one word in his post about your modelling or about your knowledge of the prototype, or about who is superior to whom. What I do see is an answer to this:

Now, you did say you didn’t care - but you also said that you didn’t know weren’t sure, and therefore it’s logical that you might find it interesting. Besides that, it might be helpful to others reading the thread. I almost replied, but aloco already had, and you went off the deep end. I’m guessing he won’t bother next time, and he probably won’t be the only one if this is the sort of reception that such offers of information receive.

I don’t see what is so difficult about saying “Thanks - that’ll be useful for someone more concerned about accuracy than I am, but I like the green.”

Yeah, you’re right. It would have been so easy to say, “Thanks - that’ll be useful for someone more concerned about accuracy than I am, but I like the green.”

I guess the point is, and I quote, “I don’t really care.” That’s why I said so. I thought it was a premptive strike to avoid filling the thread with information about CN and its accurate colour schemes and what eras they occurred in (which fyi, IS what proto-typing IS all about). And he most definitely did detail which colours were or were not used on which loco’s.

All I wanted to do was share a picture of my freshly painted SW9/1200. In colours I freakin’ like. Sheesh! Aaah never mind. Thanks for the information. Maybe someone else will cherish it.
