Clearly Limited. Your rear end is sucking air as usual. I’ve run into to your kind just too many times over the past 36 years. Brown nose, a** kissering, do nothing - know everything, snivelling, condescending, lick-spittle yes-men. You slide on the sweat of others. You take credit for their work while making their jobs harder by being nothing but an irritating lazy lout. When there’s hard work to do you disappear. I’ve spent the last 36 years picking up the slack because employees like you, just do not cut it. Always the big mouth at work. The centre of attention. By finding that passing the buck is a requirement to advancement to management, they always pin the blame on someone else. The first ones to get hurt. Need at least a day of light duties for something as simple as a hangnail. Milk the system to the max. Never the first to get to work. Have to be told what to do every day even though they’ve done it at least once before. Your kind are the first to hobnob with the white hats when they are around, leaving your coworkers to do not only their work but yours as well. Nothing but a bunch of lying braggarts. Sneaky, untrustworthy snitches.
As it stands Clearly limited, I’ll retire in a year with close to 37 years of dedicated hard and honest work. I’ll leave with pride for not only the Signal Department, but for most of the people that I’ve met and/or trained over the years. I’ll miss them. The one thing I will not miss will be the flunky’s such as yourself. Clowns like you make every-ones job harder. The problem is that your kind become adapt of flying under the radar until they become management. Once management the only people they respect are the ones that are just like them when they started. Unfortunately in these cases, what goes around, comes around. Also when your kind become management they have this habit of calling the decent hardworking employees who happen to make a stand, whiners. In all reality these people are the best you have. What did I miss? Why did you bash Clique so? He has had many years of experience to help him form his opinions. His frustrations at (mis)management are clearly evident. Thirty-seven years will do that to you.

I worked twenty years as an Engineer, and I was also painfully aware of the sufferings we had to endure due to management. However, I now have fifteen years experience working within managenent. So I can see issues from both sides better than someone who has spent all of their working days at only one level.

Be assured, many managers see someone like Clique as a threat. Most managers are not able to deal with someone who is a straight-talker. Management frequently speaks in weasel-ese, which permits them to say things without really saying anything of substance or committment.

In defense of just-above-worker-class managers, they too are frequently frustrated by the actions and decisions of the upper-levels of management. The BS that first-level managers must deal with can be astounding, and the first-level managers have no choice but to pass on the ridiculous decisions on to the actual workers.

Remember the Dilbert rule: “Any logical question will be considered insubordination”.

FOREIGNERS EH? When CN took over DMIR, they fired most of the Americans in managment and put Canadians at the jobs. It is still very much so Canadian.

Actually, most of his recent posts werne’t against his employer, but they were against YOU. You won’t leave him alone, just because you don’t like his posts. Sure, occasionally you get a somewhat (seemingly) embittered employee like Clique here bashing his employer in most posts, but still that’s no good reason to insult him after every post he makes.
You say he’s a whiner, that he would “rather curse the darkness than light a candle”. What do you expect him to do about the things he talks about? You, on the other hand, would rather insult him than continue on your merry way and actually contribute something to the forum.
