CN to discontinue Maine intermodal service

Trucks seem to wear out roads faster than their taxes and fees can repair them. If the trucks could be fitted with hi-rail wheels they could run from Montreal and save a lot of fuel.
That makes a lot of sense to discontinue a service that takes many thousands of trucks off our highways every year.
It is a typical CN ( and CP for that matter) move; sell the line touting all the revenues and then cut off the revenue flow. How charming.
Let us not forget that CN operates a large trucking fleet !
