Actually, this is more of a Not for sale part II thread. I bought a train book at a rummage sale some time back. The lady said: “Oh- you like trains? I have a box of old books from Uncle Leo you might be interested in.” We struck a deal, and I bought a whole box of unknown railroad books for $20. It was a win-win situation. She was pleased to be able to sell the books to someone who had Uncle Leo’s interest in trains. I was pleased to add to my addiction collection of railroad books.
Out of this box comes a book needing a good home. Chicago & Northwestern Railway Steam Power 1848-1956 Classes A-Z by C.T. Knudsen. It 's an old (1965) book, full of (B&W) photos, diagrams, and lots of text about CNW steam. I’m looking for someone who would really find that subject interesting. If that’s you, let me know, and I’d be happy to mail it to you.
