Does anyone make the style of enclosed belts that come with the new river mining kit? I need a few for my club doing a power plant.
Those should be easily made using Evergreen plastic strips and won’t cost as much seeing you get 10 pieces to the package for less then $5.00.I would use “L” shapes for bracing and gluing the sides and top on.
If your club has a work bench or BS table (aka ex-kitchen table) I would do the work at the club.
Just a thought.
Would the modern conveyor (Walthers 933-3518) work for you?

When I wanted an enclosed conveyor for my layout, I took a Walthers conveyor, and used it as a base and support structure. Then I used Evergreen styrene corougated sheet to make the covered conveyor on top.
