Coal tower plans?

Anyone have the August 1953 edition of Railmodel Craftsman? I am looking for the plans of a beautiful coaling tower I heard some (ahem, dragonriversteel - you don’t have an email linked!) of you may have? Let me know! I have already built one that was okay and am already looking to build another, since I had so much fun! Thanks!

Brian

Have fun

Hi Brian,

In addition to Railpub, already mentioned, if you’re a National Model Railroad Association member you can order copies of articles and drawings from out-of-print back issues from the NMRA library in Chattanooga. The library has very complete collections of model railroad magazines.

Good luck,

Andy

There are some beutiful drawings on this site.

Hello Brian,

Oppppsss, didn’t know my e-mail doesn’t work. I’ll have to check when I get home from work. I photo-copied a coaling tower plans and mailed them to …FSM???,can’t remember the fellows name.

Anyhow,I’ll see if I can find the issue.Keep in mind this was a two part build and I only have one issue of the build.I’ll re-up my e-mail so we can talk off line.
