WOW! With me being in the fire dept. I do not know if i would be taken pics or tryin to save the train.

A caboose might have prevented the whole thing? Or am I just trying to wax nostalgic!!!

All joking aside, I didn’t think there were many such trestles on the Union Pacific these days. Most of the ones in South Texas under the control of UP are concrete, there are some wooden culverts and some smaller trestles, but non as long as this one appeared to be.

I agree with using the caboose on the train again.
