Might consider nat gas instead
Mr Guse pontificates “nothing new here” { look away, look away} Like many demigods he would bury his head in the sand rather than investigate new possibilities.
This is a research study with a new fuel source and an available test bed with a “track” record with the older fuel.
I think only good can come from research into this.
If Mr. Guse would read all of the CSR web site rather than just react to the News Wire article He might “inform himself”
Why don’t they just admit how they are using “green” as an excuse to get provider class money with pseudo-intellectual approval to rebuild a steam locomotive? There is no new technology here. Reciprocating steam was taken as far as it could go and still lost out to the diesel on economics, maintenance, availability, labor, and fuel efficiency. You can take the same fuel, run it into a coal fired power plant, produce electricity, and use an electric locomotive to produce more output with the same amount of fuel as would be used by a steam locomotive.
That would be ironic to see Steam locomotives replacing Diesel locomotives!
