Hi Brian,
Seeing that you live in the UK and knowing that space is limited there for most modellers what are the dimensions of your layout and what is its shape, ie around the walls, L shape or what?

Ramon, the layout is in my loft, is 18x8’ and essentially an oval with storage behind.
UK modellers don’t have the space that many seem to have in the US; thus the development of small, intensively-run branch line layouts. There’s also a thriving exhibition circuit where clubs or groups will exhibit jointly-built larger layouts.
