Hi everyone!
I know that in code 83 you can find “concrete” ties, but I was wondering if in code 100 it also existed this option available with flex track.
Cheers

Peco makes code 100 flex track with concrete ties. The best place I know of the purchase it is Cherry Creek Hobbies in Torrington, Wyoming.
Hi kokomo
As stated Peco do concrete sleepered flex track in code 100
I believe they may also now be doing concrete sleepered points as well sure I saw something about that in one of the UK magazines, so it’s worth asking about those as well.

Shinohara made Code 100 concrete tie track at one time. I don’t know about its present availability.
The one length I have has Japanese-pattern wasp-waisted ties.

Just an odd occurance with concrete ties: the CSX here in Knoxville, TN recently removed the concrete ties on a long section of track and replaced it with wood ties? The concrete ties were crumbling on the tops? Just an FYI, sorry if this is a little off topic.

Same thing had happened here in Mass. the defective ones were replaced w/ other conc. While working @ a CSX facility in Ayer, MA, there were thousands of concrete ties stacked that were “junk”. I guess someone screwed up real bad, allowing them to be used, bad mix? improper curing? Well there’s a lot of solid fill or retaining wall.
