As I am watching Cody’s office and his modeling tip is “laying carpet” I am thinking “I am watching this why?”.
The joke was on me because I still learned something I can apply to my layout… a way I might want to put the carpet down when I get around to finishing the layout section of the basement.
It kind of makes me realize that with the need to make a nice layout room the hobby scope has expanded to include just about every aspect of home renovation. Putting up walls, putting in floors. Cielings. Electrical. Lighting. Fire Codes. Its all part of model railroading…
So, a kudos of sorts to Cody’s Office for making obvious to me what I guess had always been true… and giving me one more way to explain my hobby: “I am into home renovation. This room is an adult play room…”
