Have a good day!!

Good morning.

Feeling OK this morning. Some more work this evening, but it seems like it won’t be like last night.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR…

It is a beautiful 64 degrees. Sunny. Going up to 80 today with sunshine.

Today is a busy day. Wife is grocery shopping and I am working on chores. Put groceries away and have lunch. Then, a nice nap. May have to run the A/C this afternoon.

Buckeye… I think you are in Dayton.

Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.

Y’all have a great Wednesday.

Chuck

A question just occured to me …there were 1,122 posts in April on the POT!!! Is that a record? [:O]

Jack

Mornin’ Fellas.

Not much going on… just a lot of work. [:)]

Hope everyone is healthy, wealthy, and wise. Greatest group of friends a guy could ask for.

It would be interesting to find out but I’m not sure how that could be found…

And another sunny and warm day will be had on the North Bluff above Marseilles.[8D]

The boys from the dealer came out yesterday to check out the UD. Said they would cut me a check for 4K straight up. Sounds good to me. Just got to get the title in the right name.

Cheerios than work today till 4:00PM

Tonight I will be packing for the trip tomorrow. Back on Sunday late.

have a good Mayday.

Later.

Don’t think so as in either dec or january we averaged 3 pages a day which would be some where between 1380 and 1395

WOW con’t beleive its MAY allready!!!

Looks like the weather is finally gonna be nice for the next few days

KEV, Take the money. thats seems fair. and its done.

Ryan

Aloha. Sunny and warm again - before the temp crash and rain comes in. Moving the middle boy from college went well. The day sure was nice and hot. After today at work, begins the college-graduation logistical extravaganza…

Good morning. It’s 65° with 99% humidity. It’ll be cloudy with showers likely. The high will be 82°.

Shopping will be the prime activity today. I need to do the first half of the grocery shopping as the cupboards are somewhat bare. I also need to get more gauze pads and tape for my foot. I may work on the layout later today.

NO GRITS

We don’t have to eat pot hole filler. The temp is a sunny 55. No special plans for today so I will just wing it…S.J.

That is what I thought…but could not find the darn threads, lol.

Grits is good!! Fibre!! Fibre!![(-D]

A lot of pictures were being posted during those cold winter months. They take up a lot of room so more pages would be expected on the final count.

Just saw the forecast Wed. 88 Thur. 96 Fri. 99 Sat. 91 This is the 1st hot weather. I read in the paper this is the 4th driest year since eighteen something.

I keep track on the pot by writing down the page number and the last poster I have read. When I go on again I start there. In April we had 75 pages. I remember 77 pages, there may have been more. But thats not accurate as some posts are long and some short, so if we had a whole month of short posts after short posts there obviously would be many posts. The main thing is be grateful that the forum is active.

Good morning all,

S.J., all that talk about grits is making me hungry. I used to eat em growing up but haven’t had any for a long time account I married a Yankee. However, I do eat cream of rice once in a while which kind of looks like grits but is smoother. It still sticks to the pan though when dry. Grits are good with something on them like butter, cheese, etc.

V8, don’t know about any brush fire in Glendora. There was one the other day near Monrovia which is West of us. They put it out before it got into the foothills.

May trivia, in the circus world a new performer is called the first of May.

My son who just returned from the East has been talked into going on Facebook by our relatives. They are all trying it out now. I’m not ready to jump in myself yet. I spend too much time on the computer as it is.

I have been wading through all the photos taken by my son back East. Nice to see some spots where I grew up. A lot different now with passing years but some things remain. A picture of the house where I grew up brought a tinge of emotion. House belongs to someone else now.

I guess his honor, the Chief is still camped out at the lake house. No post yet today.

Saw a movie “My Cousin Viney” on TV. Funny flick about amateur lawyer from New York who has to defend his cousin in a Southern court. Very funny. He also discovers grits while down there.

Ray

Ray I had grits once in my lifetime. Nothing wrong with the taste, it just felt like I was eating buttered sand. I’ll stick to nice soft oatmeal…LOL

Good afternoon.

Sore and tired. Not feeling well. Don’t feel like doing anything right now. Will get to work, get through that, head home and sleep.
