COFFEE POT May 2018. Another anniversary. 14 years old. Coffee and all the breakfast you want.

Drink and eat up. Spent morning at grand opening of Union Station in Raleigh. OUTSTANDING.

What no pictures? Or did you run out of time? [:)]

Don more like Film, you know his camera uses film.

Good Morning from 50°F Southern Ohio,

On midnight shift still, but this is the last week till August when I’ll be on nights again. It was beautiful Monday. I finished waxing the truck. That job is spread over a few days, but it looks nice. Changed the oil in the Civic, moved a truck load of concrete and dirt, stained the replacement kitchen window sash and planted flowers. After that I took a couple hours nap and came into work. By morning I’ll be ready for bed. Over the weekend I saw Infinity Wars with the kids. It was pretty good. And Saturday night the youngest girl, Kalie, had a bunch of friends over after the school dance for a few hours. The oldest girl, Felicity made the cheerleader squad she was happy. The boy, Gabriel is enjoying baseball and starting as a freshman on the varsity team.

I’m going to look into shutterfly. I wonder if there is a way to move my pictures from photobucket over?

Banks - What instrument does your granddaughter play?

We’re testing equipment tonight so I’d better go and check on the guys.

Good night and may God bless

Jim

Mornin’ all!

It’s May 1st, and 34° right now in my backyard. Unreal. Supposed to go up to 75° today, then 83°, 85° and 83° for the next 3 days. Looks like we’re going directly from Winter to Summer. I hate it!

Was taking the SS to inspection yesterday: when I got there, the line was massive, longest I’ve seen since Whitman put in the dynamic emissions system in the late 90’s. I turned around and went home. I need to get the windshield replaced, then send it to Angelo to get it passed. Plus I’ll have him replace the gas tank at the same time: right now I can’t fill it more than half full, got a leak near the top.

Gotta get Corey up and out the door. More later.

Have a good one!

Morning. Already 72. Skipped spring and went to summer. Farmers planting and setting tobacco. Dry for a change. Plants in garden growing.

Don, check Union Station in Raleigh NC. Doug watched a video on it. Wifey and I were in chairs at the speaker’s stage. Not the place to take photos. Once it was over, had to rush home.

Have a good one.

Aloha. Happy May Day! It was a beautiful warm day yesterday and looks like another today - then the temps drop a bit and… it’s always ‘cooler by the lake’ anyway. I certainly appreciate the change in the weather from all-winter-all-the-time. I bought pizza for the staff yesterday to celebrate a few of them graduating this May and it made for a nice day to eat together outside.

I am enjoying a car I brought over the weekend for the middle boy whose ride is dead but if he doesn’t want it, I’ll save it for the youngest who is getting his drivers permit later this weke. For now, I am using it to drive to the train depot. It is a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with 130K miles - it’s got a few things wrong with it but for $400, I am not complaining. In fact, it will probably cost more than that just to transfer the title and get new plates…

Well what you know Da Chief stayed awake long enough to put the coffee on. He must have given a speach yesterday as the Hot Air has reached us too. Happy May Day

S.J.

Morning all and a fine start to May!

69 cloudy and windy with a high of 81 today.

SJ - [tup]

DJ - good luck with the SS

Phish - sounds like fun, we always enjoyed when the kids had all thier friends over.

Already ran the battery dead once on Jordan’s elect motorcycle this morning. He has more fun chasing me on the 110 CC

Like Doug said, Got to 83 yesterday here and they say hotter today.

A trip to Walmart later to get some supplies then back to Bike riding. [:D]

Morning Fellas

Not a whole lot going on these days. Just working around the house to get projects finished, tidy up the joint. Got 7 months to fix the house up and finish whatever projects in Pittsburgh need to be done…

Fun times

Happy May Day!!

Been a while, looks like first page!!

Might have sold my Acura 3.5RL, after sitting for a year. Find out tonight at 6.

Jumped right into summer 74F now and VERY sunny, I’ll take it!!

Got to softball practice late, got 1 hit and that’s about it.

Didn’t sleep well last night and might go to the Dream Lift tonight to fetch the kids from the airport.

Gotta get back to work, crazy busy!

Evening all

High 70’s and not a cloud to be seen.

I had to play hookey from work today to fix the van. The power steering went on it last night. I thought it was the pump or the rack from where the fluid was leaking. Thinking the worse, I took it to one of my childhood buddies to see what he could find. Turned out to be one of the lines had been rubbing against the frame and eventually wore through. (Great design, Chrysler… [^o)] ) Anyways, for $30 worth of parts and a case of beer, he was able to fix it. Definitely saved me about $700!

Have a good one!

Rob

Good Morning from clear 58°F Southern Ohio,

Tuesday I got some more concrete fill from the contractor so I moved it around and after I left for work they dropped off a load of dirt. At this rate I should have the area I’m trying to fill done by fall. It is a win-win because I’m getting the fill free and the contractor has a handy close by place to dump the solid fill. I also took the oldest girl driving for a bit and cut grass for about an hour before coming to work.

I’m going to swing by Rural King on the way home from work and get my bride a Ginko tree. She is really fond of them, and I have plenty of space to choose from to plant it. It is predicted to be nice again today but won’t get it into the ground because the next few days are going to be packed.

Rob - Good deal on the car repair.

Rich - Hope you get a fair price on the Acura

Brent - It seems like the last 20% of a project takes the longest to get done.

Roy - It is fun when the kid’s friends come over. For the most part they are well behaved. We remind them of the ground rules and if they break the rules, we call their parents to come and get them. And we do it.

Good morning,

Quiet here,

Cloudy but warm, will hit mid 80s again today then rain tonight. Cat was out all night. Topped off the Ranger and filled the Gator gas can this morning. I musta got into something when I was working the brush along the east fence-line. Got a bad rash on my right arm? [:^)]

79 degrees already. Outside chores again today. Seems nice to not have chill and rain.

Have a good one.

Morning 'Potters!

Another cloudy day, some sprinkles, maybe a storm tonight, and a high of 87 (whoa summer!).

Phish - that’s a good deal on the fill. “They” want a fortune to remove dirt and a fortune to bring it around here.

Brent - good luck on the Philly house. Hope your plans we were talking about at York work in your favor.

Rob - good deal on the power steering repair!

Kev - [tup] on the bike riding!

Aloha. Looks like another sunny beautiful day but there’s thunderstorms looming out west somewhere. . . Spent the evening poking around the Cavalier. There’s more rust around the door frames than i’d like. Yeah, Kev, that sounds about right for fees for a new title and plates. Sigh.

Rob, you gave me a good idea to check about the power steering fluid leaking in our Impala. I should try to trace the lines instead of just looking at the pump…

Anything that runs at all goes for $1,000 around here.

Tue 63 and Wed. 65 felt like 53 cold for this time of the year and the therocouple quit on my wall heater. It sure seems to me thst I replaced it about two years ago. Don’t thermocoulpes usually last longer?

84 yesterday, snows almost melted so the grass got it’s first cut.
