Cold Feet?

Maybe I’m just cold feet about starting something new. Do ya’ll feel the same way when you first started?

Hey buddy, i’m new to but we all enjoy the same hobby . I’ve only been here for an hour but I see some of the same questions I have. No more cold feet , just slow typing!!!

Actually, when I started, I dived right in [:)]

I cant say that I had cold feet. I dove in and tried new things, of course back then i was living at home and had my parents supporting my hobby. Now that I have a mortgage, car payments and bills up the ying yang, I tend to get cold feet before trying something that is going to cost me more in the long run if i screw it up.
just my 2 cents ( no I’m broke)

For me it’s not cold feet but a cold garage! I get most work done in the spring and fall when the garage is most comfortable…admittedly I do a lot more layout work now that I have a little workshop area in the house for building kits.

Sometimes it takes a little time to get started on a new particular project when I haven’t been working on layout stuff–kits will sit on the shelf for a while until I work up the initiative to get going on them. Typically I vary between jags of tons of productivity and jags of playing strategy games on the PC…

I had cold feet for a numberr of years (mostly teenage years). Now I’m in my own place with capital available, the cold feet have been replaced by a layout (and a hole in my wallet!)
