Habitants: Bienvenue! This is what Montreal’s C$0.386/liter (C$1.446/US gallon!) excise taxes (only exceeded by Vancouver) on gasoline gets you. Where is all that money going? Etrange, non?
I did not know federal and provincial gas taxes were used to pay for municipal water mains.
