Colorado Railroad Museum, accomplishments and plans

Four years ago, I interviewed the Colorado Railroad Museum’s then new Executive Director, Donald Tallman. We talked about his visions for the museum. I posted the article on my web magazine.

Two days ago, I was given the opportunity to visit again with Donald and learn how things have progressed and what is in the future for the museum.

Here is my report:
Is this any way to run a railroad museum? A second look

Thanks for the comprehensive update on the Colorado Railroad Museum! I last visited over thirty years ago so I’ll have to add it to my travel list.

You seem to have been around the RR for a bit. I was wondering if you could direct me on a piece of equip I have. I have a very heavy steel luggage tug. It has a bench seat, bar steering, brake and forward peddle. A large lantern light and is powered by a Thomas Edison large battery boxes. The wheels are heavy and have molded rubber on them. I don’t know anything about this. Any ideas I can send you a picture if you would like. seagleconst@aol.com

If anyone knows about this tug, please contact me. I need info about it.

Thanks, KIM
