Use engine spray paint from autozone NAPA etc. It will handle the temperature.
What kind of lights Pat? We are talking small train lights right? I’ve used the Testor’s Paint Pens to color small lights. It takes a little patience as the color will want to come off a little with repeated applications. But the Testor’s Paint Pen colors are translucent enough to work.
I’ve taken the colored bulbs with leads from Radio Shack (you get a green, yellow and red one) and made the yellow ones into red with the paint pens.
I’ve also seen acyrlic translucent paint sets at Wal-Mart, though I have yet to try them for this. Might be worth a shot though.
Sounds like some options guys.
The lights will be used as panel indictators.
