Colors on surplus Troop cars

I have 9 Red Ball ex troop sleepers than were converted to express cars. The ones I have are for the B&O C-17 cars, I have found references to three different paint schemes and I am trying to figure out which is the correct paint scheme. The three I have found are: Pullman Green, Solid Blue (royal blue) with and without the gold stripe and the traditional blue and grey passenger paint scheme. These cars were used on passenger trains to haul express goods. I have tried to contact the B&O historical Society but no responce so I am trying to find out here.
