Colors!!!

I bought a Woodland Scenics Rock Coloring Kit after Christmas and today I opened it up and tried to color my tunnel portals:

I found out that Sculptamold doesn’t color the same as Hydrocal [oops] !

This is what I wanted to get it to look like:

Not quite there yet!

I started by spraying both with water, soaking them good.

I mixed a lot of water with some of the paint from the kit and mixed it up.

I used the brush that was included to dab it on and thats what I got.

What colors should I use to get it to the gray:

How about for the rocks, should I mix less, more, what???

Where would you think the rocks came from if they were that color???

Make a some “sample” rocks from each material, then experiment with different mixes of color on each, may take a few tries to get what you want, but you will have several choices.
