Hi
just to let people know while getting lunch after a morning of leaf raking and mowing CSX had a powder river coal train going east. On the point was an unscathed cnw unit followed by an oakway leaser. my guess is its for first energy over by akron. I was stuck in traffic and had no way of getting a pics[:(]
so good luck to my fellow railfans out there.
stay safe
Joe
Don’t you just love those oddities? It sucks never being able to get a picture of them.
heads up…the CNW is still alive!
Seen a ex CNW Operation Lifesaver AC44 last night going through Baltimore!
[:D]
Was the CNW unit a C44-9W or AC4400CW?
It was a AC4400CW,UP bandit.
There is a recurring movement of Power River coal that is moving to Curtis Bay. MD.
What,no BNSF this time?
That’s the first time I’ve heard that description-it fits. Only Milwaukee “Bandits” up until now.
There were 3 unpatched units as-of early 2004, there are 1 to 3 now.
.
that’s not good. SAVE THEM!!!
