And before drying and putting on socks, see if there is a way you can wash your feet separately in the sink (might require some calesthenic-like contortions)!
One that I’ve found particularly useful is “never push your Grannie when sh’e shaving.”

[xx(] Boy are you right on about that. I picked up athletes foot in 1964 while at a Boy Scout summer camp in N.Y. and have had to battle it ever since. This is because once you have it, you ALWAYS have it…it never goes away once you have it but you can control it if careful, and the reference to proper drying in the original post is RIGHT ON.
