Yes, I know. I’m a dinosaur, and don’t deal well with change. When I push on the smiley above to get smiley icons, I seem to only get 1/2 of the available icons-no laughing smilely for example. It appears as if there are more at the bottom of the page. I just can’t figure out how to get to the bottom of that page. Can anyone help? (Talk to me like I’m 4. It’s easier that way.) Thanks
I’ve noticed a similar phenomenon on my screen, Murph, as the bottom row of smilies appears to be cut in half by the bottom of the window. Up until this moment I didn’t know how to deal with it, but I just figured out that if I press the Up and Down arrows between the standard and numeric sections of the keyboard, the smilies would scroll up and down in the window.
That does not work for me. [sigh] Another casualty of ‘progress’.
Me either.[:(]. I press the yellow smiley picture above, which brings up the top half of the smiley icon screen. At that point, pushing the arrows seems to have no effect. Is there some other part I’m forgetting-like pressing the the contol button while doing it.(Or muttering naughty words under my breath?That doesn’t seem to work.[;)])

EDIT: One possible factor- at home I use Firefox, here at work I’m stuck with IE7.
How many rows are there ? I see 7 full rows, and the top of the eighth, which is
Chef / Captain / Dunce / Grumpy / Miscief / Pirate / Laugh

Well…now that you mention it, I can see just a slice of the top of row 8. I presume it’s the lsat row, as the laughing smiley was last on the old list. If I click on that little slice, I can make it work.

[(-D]There are only eight lines of smilies. To get to the last line, just use the scroll wheel on your mouse while you are on the smiley page.

So I decided to bring up IE (not the latest and greatest version), just to see how it works and the smileys are blocked by my pop-up blocker. I figured out how to turn that off and managed to get IE to display the smileys pop-up window.
Sure enough, I have the same problem. The pop-up window is not sizeable. But that eighth partial row is indeed the last row of smileys.
Boy, am I glad that I use Netscape [:D] [}:)] [:P]
Same problem here with Mozilla, but not with Firefox.
And why did the “link” function dissappear from the tool bar? The icons showing the chain depicting link creation tools have completely vanishhed
Have you tried zooming to 75% (click arrow at lower right corner)? All lines show then.

They are a very pale grey.
The easy way to fix these problems is to go back to Snitz !
When you click on the smiley face… on the toolbar… on the ‘reply to an existing message’ window, does a dialog box come up called (at the top of the box) ‘Insert Smiley - Windows Interenet Explorer’?
If yes, then look down to the lower right corner of the box. Is there a picture of a magnifying glass with a plus sign in the middle of it… with 100% printed to the right of it… and then to the right of that a black arrow pointing down?
If yes, then click on the little arrow and a listing of percentages appears. Click on 75%, and all the smiley rows should be in view in a smaller size.
