Congrats to Kalmbach & CTT 25th anniversary

Wow 25 already, I have them all.Oh scratch that I think I missed 1 when my script lapsed. So thanks for taking us out of the H O mag. era…S.J.

Yep, a bunch of great articles over the 25 years, THANK YOU

Hey, is that what happened to all of you? [sigh]

We miss you over here on the MRR forums. [:'(]

Rich HO Train

Yes MR and Craftsman were what we read. Once in awhile after MPC rebuilt Lionel, they would toss us an O ga. bone.

“Happy 25th., Classic Toy Trains Magazine!”

And many more.

Ralph

LOL

That’s what CTT does now to us American Flyer diehards. It tosses us an S gauge bone.

Even so, Happy 25th Birthday, CTT. [^]

Rich (AF) HO Train

Has it really been twenty five years? Hard to fathom how fast the time flew by. I was drawn with the first issues learning about the more obscure tinplate, as well as the big three ( Marx, Lionel, AF)…I often wish that the more obscure lines were covered but I understand that this seems to be a minority view.

CTT…thanks for the memories…and especially to Rodger Carp, who keeps the history of toy trains alive.

Ready for another 25!

I have them all and love this magazine! Everything about it is why I like toy trains. They keep the emphasis on the ‘toy’ part even with the high rail articles which I also love. Can’t say enough good things about CTT.

25 years ago…Hardly anybody knew what a “url” was. (“Earl? Earl who?” [(-D]) Hobby shops were more plentiful. Cellphones were the size of a lunch box. Chat rooms were places you had to wear clothes to go into. A “Net” was something a fisherman used. And what in the world was this “E-Bay” thing? A place to park your flying saucer? [swg]

Glad to have had CTT along for the ride over the last 25 years to give me a smile!

Becky

Well sorry guys, I thought your anniversary would be worth more than 9 replies.

Happy 25th CTT! I have every issue. Great magazine!

Keep up the good work guys!

Congratulations to a great magazine - for both beginners and enthusiasts alike. I’ve given away hundreds of issues over the years to youngsters and other interested adults.
