I know my friend Roger Carp is a happy man today![:)]
Cubs and Brewers are in. If the White Sox can win 1 more and then the 1 game playoff with Minnesota, they are in as the AL Central champ. 3 teams in within 90 miles in the MLB playoffs. Can so many baseball fans in such a small radius survive this?
Where are fans of Milwaukee and Chicago going to get all of the Old Mil beer necessary to make it through all of this?
Congratulations to the baseball fans from these two fine towns.
Jack
Hopefully DETROIT will win tomorrow.
Sorry Doug, but not really.
I think I’ll go to the game today…
Can you imagine another White Sox - Cubs World Series. There’d be blood on the streets!! Luckily the Twins will save Chicago from that fate tonight. [swg]
BTW I hear the Brewers had a scare on their last flight - the plane took off OK, but then couldn’t fly straight. The wings were tilted about 20 degrees to starboard and the pilot couldn’t level it off so it kept going around and around in circles.
Finally somebody realized they had let Sebathia and Fielder sit on the same side of the plane. Once they separated them, the plane could fly straight again. [(-D]
Milwaukee still has a baseball team??? [:O]
I thought they defected to Atlanta. [(-D]
It will be interesting to see if CC has anything left in the gas tank, what a horse of a man.
[soapbox]WHO CARES??? [soapbox]

The Dodgers are already in…[swg]
Happy to host the Brewers , hopefully CC is worn out from all those pitches . Lets go Phillies !!! By the way the subway is the best way to the ballpark . Is that train related ? Tom
No, but living on the North side and walking to the “L” and going to Wrigley for a game is train related!
Been there, done that many times out of the Bryn Mawr station. Saved a lot of coin (avoided ransoming car from parking lots) which was better employed for the Wrigley frosties delivered to your seat, and then the post-game bar hopping! Is Mr. Woo Woo still alive and cheering inside and outside the park? Last Wrigley game I attended was around a decade ago, and he was still going strong then. Saw video of him late last night on one of the national sports shows but had the sound off.
Condolences to Brewers’ fans. 100 years of patience will be rewarded. The curse of the Billy Goat lifted. That is if the Red Sox don’t get in the way. [swg]
