Quick shout-out to Conrail modelers:
Does anyone have a picture of CR1991, a B23-7, with white number boards? I had to replace one on a different Bachmann RTR model with some white-out tape and the material lets light pass through well. One of the front number boards on my CR model is near-illegible from some glue for detail parts and I was thinking about having a pro do it until now. If anyone has a photo or knows where there is one of 1991 with white number boards, let me know.

Do you absolutely have to have 1991, or will any B23-7 photo with white number boards do? See photo of 1933 at this link: http://crcyc.railfan.net/locos/ge/7b23/b237.html . Some more photos are here: http://thecrhs.org/ConrailEquipment/Locomotives/GE/B23-7 .
I did notice that the font on the 1933 unit is different from what I’d consider the normal Conrail font.
Yes, unfortunately. I already checked the site and it doesn’t have it. Besides, 1933 was modified to fit with the Track Geometry Train, CR21.

Well, you said number boards. I don’t know what “special modifications” were done to that particular unit to make it special for the geometry train outside of maybe the ditch lights. Anyway, I Googled Conrail Geometry Train and came up with the following: http://thecrhs.org/Images/CR-1933-1-at-Washington-MA-on-10797?pid=669 and http://thecrhs.org/Images/CR-1933-at-Elkhart-IN .
Here’s another link that has several pics of what you’re looking for.

Thank you for the pics. The one provided by Hamltnblue is dead on. While I must admit, it did look deadlined…either way, thanks for replying
