I can’t seem to get my PARAGON broadway limited USRA Heavy Pacific ATSF 3423 to run it just makes one chug sound and then stops can anyone help me?
I believe that you will need to provide more information than “controller don’t be working”.
Are you attempting to run with DC or DCC?
What “controller” are you using?
Did the engine ever run properly?
Have you checked the track for shorts or proper voltage?
What version of Paragon? Have you tried a factory reset? Made sure your tender wheels didn’t get spun 180 degrees?
Did you buy it new or used?
Crickets….
Where is the OP?
We need a lot more information in order to help resolve the problem.

I believe the locomotive in question is Paragon 3 in HO, from around 2016. Here is a sister for detailed comparison:
But looking at the picture, I think it’s N scale, and those I see reference to are all Paragon 4.

(The Paragon 4 manual indicates it’s for HO, but I don’t see a specific listing for the N-scale version on Broadway’s website…)
These are great questions and a good starting point once we get answers.
As a dumb initial question: are both your tender trucks turned the right way? And is the locomotive properly connected to the tender?
