Controlling Dirt and Dust on a Garage Layout

The world-wide web, or just “the Web.” Spiders. Spider mites. Webs of…do I gotta go on? [8-|]

An effective control for spider mites, once you find their places of development, is to mix some milk, some water, and some dish detergent, plus some white flour. Make a very thin slurry that you can spray out of your hand-held grocery-type spray (Spray and Wash, Scrub-free, etc.) and thoroughly soak the undersides of all affected shrubs. All of them. Repeat within ten days.

In the spring, begin to look for both aphids and spider mites a few days after a hot spell. Fruit trees, succulents, that sort of place. Use this milky spray when it will dry on the leaves within a few hours at most. Repeat every week or so. Within a few weeks you should be past their replication stages.
