i was flipping through the june issue of trains and i had seen my Ask trains ? in there and i wrote that back in december or november but that is cool that i seen it has anyone else seen there own articles or ?s in the magazine??
…I’m still looking for the June issue…
That is very cool wisandsouthernkid. I haven’t been able to read mine yet, but I’m sure I’ll be able to tell which question is yours!
Cheers,
Doug
Quentin, that’s not fair. I got mine today, so you should have received yours 10 days ago.
Q, you’ve not gotten yours yet; we’ve had ours for about a week.
actually i had gotten it yesterday.
…Dale and Walt:
Yes it’s rather late…Sometimes it is early but this one is a bit more than a little late.
Quentin, you lucky Midwesterners seem to get yours on the Saturday nearest the 1st day of the month. My copy usually arrives near the 10th, and we don’t have Saturday mail service in Canada.
You would be Eric Chapman, with the “Do not hump” question. Good for you.
I can’t recall another forum member in the Ask Trains dept. Al Smalling had a letter in the Railroad Post Office a few months ago, and Mr Blysard was in Selected Railroad Reading about the same time.
I live in Germany, and have often gotten mine around the 25th of the previous month! It was in my mailbox before the web-site said “Now shipping to subscribers”. But the June issue arrived a little late: May 7th.
To wisandsouthernkid: great job! I’ve tried a few times myself, but no luck so far. All the best!
…Wow, clear to Germany before it makes it to Indiana…! Maybe this is the month my copy has found another home.
Edit: I get another monthly mag. and it just arrived 2 days ago.
